THE HAT

This hat is more than headwear—it’s a ceremonial talisman, a fusion of art, nature, and spirit. At its core is a deep black base, the canvas upon which every other element speaks. Encircling the crown is a tie‑dye fabric strip in shades of sapphire, cerulean, turquoise, and sea‑foam — flowing and merging like the tides, a visual echo of ocean swells, moonlit waves, playful foam on sand.

Front and center, set into that crown, is a blue stone — smooth, cool, reminiscent of sea‑glass or the heart of a lagoon — a focal point, both luminous and grounding. On one side, a cascade of blue pearls offers soft luminescence, shimmering like droplets caught in sunlight, like bubbles rising along an underwater current.

But this hat does more than evoke. It cleanses. Nestled inside, or perhaps subtly integrated into the brim or sweatband, is a piece of palo santo (“holy wood”) known for its purifying powers. In many indigenous Andean traditions, Bursera graveolens (palo santo) is burned to clear negative energy, to sanctify space, to invite harmony. 

The scent of its Palo Santo — warm, woody, faintly citrusy — adds an olfactory ritual: wear it and you carry purification with you.
